Below is an overview of the music side of TNL... If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out! We would love to chat with you!
The Purpose of Music at TNL...
We believe that we were created to worship God and praise Him for all that He has done in our lives (1 Corinthians 10:31). As Christians, we live our lives in worship to Him. Singing songs of praise is part of that worship. (Colossians 3:16 -- Ephesians 5:19 -- Psalm 95:1-2 -- Psalm 147:1 -- Psalm 150:1-6 + over 400 other mentions of singing in the Bible.)
The Music We Choose...
The music we play on a Tuesday night has been chosen carefully. Before a song is added to our rotation, we check to make sure the lyrics align with God's Word. We also take into consideration the category (see below) of Christian music and how easy it is for the average person to sing.
There are several different types of Christian music...
Praising God for what He has done.
Asking God to move in our lives.
Both of these are used on Tuesdays at TNL and in churches across the world on a Sunday morning.
Other categories of Christian music include...
Encouraging the body of believers.
Reflections / Instrumental / etc.
Christian Rap and Rock
While these are great and we enjoy listening to a wide variety of Christian music on our own time, we choose not to use these for our time of singing at TNL. - - - - -
If you have any questions about the songs we HAVE chosen, let us know! We would love to chat about the theology behind the songs we sing!
If you have any songs we HAVEN'T chosen and would like to recommend songs to add, contact Curtis at 720-791-5736.

8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:8-11
