Fall 2023 Semester Events

  • (PAST EVENT) Monday, August 21st - Snow Cones & Yard Games!
    • We will have snow cones (yes, they are free:) again this year on the UC South Patio.  Swing by between 7PM-10PM for a cold treat and warm fellowship!
      • New to TNL?  We would love to get to know you better!  Come chat with us!

  • (PAST EVENT) Tuesday, August 22nd - 1st TNL of the Semester!!!
    • Come join us in Houston Hall 139 for a night of worship through praise music, a message, discussion questions, and Fiesta afterward (at CMU this week!)
    • We will have pizza this week!
      • Fiesta! will be back at Brandon's house next week (which will include free espresso per usual:)
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Thursday, August 24th - TNL Night Hike!
    • HIKE CANCELED - Game Night in "The Point" instead.  Come join us for some games instead of soggy hiking.
    • Meeting Location: "The Point" in the UC
    • Meeting Time: 7PM
    • Cost: FREE!
      • New to TNL?  This is a great opportunity to meet people and get to know them better!
      • Returning?  We can't wait to see you there!
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Friday, August 25th - Water Balloon Volleyball
    • Come play some volleyball with water balloons!
    • Location: Alumni Field
    • Time: 6:30PM
      • Come have a BLAST (pun intended) with water balloons (and other yard games)!
 
  •  (PAST EVENT) Saturday, August 26th - Welcome Back Grill Out!!!
    • Come on over to Brandon's house for a Grill Out and yard games.
    • Location: 583 29 Road (less than 10 minutes from CMU)
      • Need a ride from CMU?  We would be happy to drive you over and back!  Meet in the Dominguez Parking Lot at 6PM.
    • Time: 6PM
      • We got the meat, just bring yourself (and a friend... or several!)
      • We will have volleyball and spike ball, but if you would like to bring other yard games to share, go for it!

Week 2 Events
  • (PAST EVENT) Monday, August 28th - Men's Bible Study Kick Off!
    • Location: UC 222
    • Time: 4:30PM
      • We will spend this week's Bible Study playing fun games while we get to know one another and cast vision for the rest of the semester.
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Tuesday, August 29th - TNL Weekly Meeting
    • Come join us in Houston Hall 139 @7PM for a night of worship through praise music, a message, discussion questions, and Fiesta afterward.
      • Fiesta is back at Brandon's house this week (which will include free espresso and food per usual:)
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Wednesday, August 30th - Women's Bible Study Kick Off!
    • Location: The Point (this week only)
    • Time: 2:30PM
      • Calling women who want to deepen their relationship with God to join other women in studying His Word and spending quality fellowship time with each other.  See you there!

        • The kick off is at The Point in the UC.  After this week, we will be in UC 222.
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Thursday, August 31st - Co-Ed Bible Study Kick Off!
    • Location: The Guys House

      • We will spend this week's Bible Study playing some games, getting to know one another, and casting vision for the semester.

  • (PAST EVENT) Friday, September 1st - Communion Bible Study Kick Off!
    • Location: UC Balcony
    • Time: 8AM
      • Communion Bible Study focuses on spending time in communion (friendship) with one another and drawing closer to God.  We will cast vision for the semester this week and spend some time in prayer and praise.
 
Week 3 and Beyond... Events

    • Come join us for a walk up Serpent's Trail under the stars!

    • Come join us for an amazing weekend at Cascade Lodge as we grow closer to Jesus and each other!

    • Cost: $45 (includes gas in addition to food and all activities)
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Saturday, September 23rd - TNL Rafting Trip!
    • Enjoy a ride down the Colorado River with your friends!
    • Meeting Location: Dominguez Parking Lot
    • Meeting Time: 8:30AM
    • Cost: $10 (includes transportation)
 
  • (PAST EVENT) Friday, September 29th - RUMBLE! (Slip-n-Slide Kickball)
    • Location: Delta (intramural) Field (between Wubben and Fine Arts)
    • Time: 6PM
    • Cost: FREE (yes, that includes the pizza and the extra soap on the SLIP-N-SLIDE :)

  • (PAST EVENT) Friday, October 15th - Fall Girls' Dinner
    • Location: Shayna's House
    • Time: 3:30PM
    • Cost: FREE
      • Come have dinner, decorate some cookies, enjoy spa activities and lots of pumpkin fun with other ladies in TNL.  Invite your friends!

  • (PAST EVENT) Saturday, October 28th - Paintball on the Mesa!
    • Meeting Location: Dominguez Parking Lot
    • Meeting Time: 8:30AM
    • Cost if Participating: $20 (includes transportation, lunch, and paintball equipment)
    • Cost if Watching: FREE! (includes transportation and lunch)
      • 45 Total Spots Available for those who want to play Paintball...
        BUT, there are Nerf Guns, FREE LUNCH, and amazing fellowship time for everyone!  So, even if you don't want to play Paintball, come join us for a great day on the Mesa!

  • (PAST EVENT) Friday, November 10th - Sunday, November 12th - F.A.M RETREAT!!
    • Meeting Location: Dominguez Parking Lot
    • Meeting Time: 3PM
    • Cost: $40 ($30 for registration and $10 for gas)

    • Come join us at River of Life church @7PM for a nice break from the stress of finals!
    • There will be (free) food, (fun) games, and an (ugly) sweater contest!
