- Has there been a time when you chose to speak up (or not)? What happened as a result?
- What part of the book of Esther stood out to you the most? How do you see God's hand in it?
- Which of the four characters (King Xerxes, Haman, Mordecai, or Queen Esther) do you resonate with the most and why?
- How does desire for comfort, desire for power, or the fear of man show up in your life? Which do you find most challenging to deal with?
- Who is someone in your life who has offered you wise counsel and encouraged you to do what is right-even when it's hard? How might God be calling you to be that person for someone else?
- What circumstances in your life might God have brought you to "for such a time as this"? How can you choose to walk in obedience in that situation?

- Jesus tells us to “seek first His Kingdom.” What do you think it practically means to seek God’s Kingdom first in your life as a college student?
- In the treasure and pearl parables (Matthew 13:44–46), the men were willing to give up everything because they recognized the value of what they had found. What does this reveal about how we should view Jesus and our salvation?
- In the spiritual breathing illustration, what makes “exhaling” and confessing sin difficult for us?
- How can we help each other seek God's Kingdom without becoming judgmental or legalistic?
- Of the three challenges—prioritize your relationship with God, walk in obedience, and live for eternity—which one do you most need to grow in right now? Why?

- Why is it good that we are made to seek/desire? How can that be hard that we have desires/seek to be fulfilled?
- What were some unsavory characters in your life (Bully, town drunk, gambler, etc)? How were they named? How does that make sense with Satan’s Titles? Ruler of this world (John 12:31) The god of this age (2nd Corinthians 4:4) Prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2) A “deceiver and father of lies” (John 8:44) “Masquerades as an angel of light” (2nd Corinthians 11:14) What can you expect of Satan’s behavior accordingly?
- What has been your experience with darkness? How are some ways that you have seen others close to you be lured away. IOW... How have you seen Satan treat his people?
- What are some lies that you or others have believed about Jesus? What are common beliefs about spiritual things that the world pushes that are lies?

- What is something that is really fun in the moment but usually has consequences later? This could be anything—food, staying up late, spending money, etc.
- Why is admitting that we have a sin problem so difficult?
- Jesus talks about anger and lust in Matthew 5, showing that sin isn't just about our outward actions but what's happening inside us. Why do you think Jesus cares so much about our thoughts, desires, and motivations?
- What would it look like for you this week to stop trying to manage your sin on your own and actually bring it to Jesus?
