Getaway Recap
Theme: The Real Deal
Authentic Christianity - Authentic Masculinity
Session 1 (Austin)
Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going?
Who am I?
We are sons of Adam.
Why am I here?
To know God.
Where am I going?
To make Him known.
Moving Forward Questions:
Do you know God?
Are you sharing the Gospel with others?
Session 2 (Russ)
Authentic Transformation
The closer you get to God, the more authentic you will become.
The three enemies of our soul:
1 - Fleshly Desires
2 - Worldly Influences
3 - Satan (who is behind the first two)
The Fruit of the Spirit vs the fruits of the flesh.
Moving Forward Questions:
Who is on the throne of your life? Have you yielded to Jesus?
Are you doing "throne checks" regularly?
Are you living in the power of the Holy Spirit?
Are you willing to do, say, and become anything God wants you to?
Session 3 (Sean)
Authentic Servant Leadership
Servant Leadership means leading by serving others - prioritizing their growth, well-being, and needs above personal gain or status.
Step 1 - Trust God to help us not think less of ourselves, but think of ourselves less.
Step 2 - Be authentic...
...as a husband, dad, and son.
Moving Forward Questions:
Which area do you need to trust God with to be a strong servant leader?
How does God want to use you to serve others for His glory?

About This Event
Join other men, young and old, from around Colorado at the MPM Three Trails Ranch! 45 minutes from Durango and nested in the beautiful mountains, this location provides a way to escape and unplug from the craziness of the world and focus on one another and Jesus. This retreat is a great time to connect with other men and grow in your faith... while having a blast in the mountains!
There will be live worship, talks centered on the Bible, discussion groups, and free time for adventures both inside and out.
We will meet at Dominguez parking lot at 3PM on Friday, April 10th, and drive down together. Bring a sack dinner or extra cash for food on the way. We will stop in Montrose.
